Tony Lee Dow was an American television actor born on 1945, film producer, director, and sculptor. He is best known for his role in the television sitcom 'Leave It to Beaver'

Tony Dow, the actor who played Wally Cleaver on the TV show Leave it to Beaver, died today. He was very old and had been fighting cancer for a long time.

Tony was a kind, compassionate, funny and humble person. It was a joy to be around him. Dow's wife, Laura Shulkind, announced in 2022 that the Leave It to Beaver star had cancer.

Dow played the protective role of Wally to Jerry Mathers' Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver on the quintessential family sitcom of the late 1950s and early '60s.

Dow is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lauren Shulkind. Dow also has a son, Christopher (from his first marriage to Carol Marlow). Dow has one brother and one granddaughter.
